Don’t Sweat It™: The Summer Show
Don’t Sweat It™: The Summer Show is a one-hour experimental radio broadcast disguised as a late-night infomercial for heatwave survival. Combining fake product ads, spiritual testimonials, camp jingles, and voiceover sales pitches, the piece explores emotional and physical overheating through the language of synthetic relief. Performed live at Cashmere Radio as part of Remote Control, the final presentation for the Experimental Radio seminar at UdK Berlin (2025), the show draws from QVC, Taiwanese variety radio, and capitalist meltdown aesthetics to deliver a sonic satire of summer wellness.

“Sam (live call-in): Yeah, so I got the ChillCage™ after I started explaining feminism to an actual feminist theorist at a party. The ego cooling literally saved my reputation and probably my relationship.”
